For security reasons, the only way that you can reset your BlackBerry device password without knowing
your current device password is to delete all of your device data. You can typically do this by entering an
incorrect device password ten times.
If you have the BlackBerry Protect anti-theft feature turned on, to set up your device again, you will need
to enter your BlackBerry ID.
BlackBerry recommends that you regularly create and save a backup file on your computer.
